Terminology

In our community, "BO" has multiple uses and it's important to know both of them to avoid having to check if it's a sign - this is a guide to what all these acronyms mean.

BO

BO refers to buyout, for example if you wanted $30 for an item then you'd put the BO as $30.

CO

CO is used for the seller to show what the current offer is in the thread.

BIN

Buy it now

SB

SB refers to either the Shoutbox / Chat or Starting Bid.

BI

BI stands for "bid increment" and is used for the seller to determine a minimum amount that buyers bids should have in difference / increase by.

DNDW

Often used to warn people not to deal with somebody after a bad incident, you may see DNDW a lot in reputation as it means "Do Not Deal With".

VM

VM refers to Virtual Market, the website you're currently on.

OG

Often used with usernames, OG means original and usually refers to rare names.

Vouch

A vouch is left by a user who has had good experiences with the user who they're leaving it for

Rep

Shorthand for Reputation

LF

Usually refers to Looking For.

WTB

Want to buy.

WTS

Want to sell.

WTT

Want to trade.

[H]

Commonly used in titles to state what the user has for trade.

[W]

Commonly used in titles to state what the user wants for trade.
