Since Black Friday is coming up, I thought why not and build a pc from scratch. What parts should I be looking for?

    Lmao that's funny

What's specs do you have now? Computer parts are still quite expensive especially in the flash and GPU areas.

If you're on a DDR3 based platform and aren't having serious issues I'd probably hold off a bit

Otherwise i'd go with one of the gen 2 Ryzen CPUs, possible gen 1 if you can't afford Zen 1.

If you want to go in the used market and get good stuff on the cheap, I'd say buy a used 6 core xeon workstation with 16+ gb of ram and a used GTX 1070. When you receive the xeon PC, OC it.

eh, vista's still useable, but you might be better off using unactivated windows 10 pro (you can get a key for 4$ on ebay if you want to activate it later) or linux.

I'll sell you a Xeon E3-1231v3 w/Z97 PC Mate Motherboard & 16GB DDR3 RAM for $300, all that leaves is a case, power supply, and GPU

    The Xeon E3-1231v3 performs the same as a i7-4770K. I've upgraded to a Ryzen 7 2700X

I'll also add the h100i v2 for an additional $50, which covers cooling needs

Overkill CPU Cooler. Also too costly.

Not enough power to the PSU

Get a GTX 1070 or a RX 590. You are getting shitty Price/Performance with that GPU.

Terrible Mobo for the price. Get an Asus Z390-P

    No SSD???????? Wtf?

    4/10 Would not buy.

Your parts should conform to this:

    for best price to performance.
